A mirror matched pair of Japanese Satsuma earthenware vases decorated in polychrome moriage enamels and gilded on a cream crackle glaze ground depicting a seated Samurai with his bow and a quiver of arrows. Signed to the bases Kusube, in hand scripted iron red and stamped 'Foreign for export'. Circa 1910-20. 22cm high approx. (2)
