Margaret Lindsay Williams (Welsh 1888 - 1960), an oak Artist's box bearing the initials MLW and containing: wooden pallet and a small collection of brushes in a metal tube together with various copies of ephemera, newspaper cuttings etc. relating to the Artist and a photograph of same and a draft of her memoirs/biography entitled Royal Portrait Painter in typed and loosely bound form, also included a typed report on the Estate sale of her paintings and chattels, where her Artists box, pallet and other items made £6 10 shillings. Provenance: purchased in these rooms together with an oil painting by the Artist of a Welsh landscape some twenty years ago. (B.P. 21% + VAT)
