Early 19th Century large creamware jug of baluster form, transfer printed with 'Ship Caroline' and inscribed 'James Leech'. The reverse with 'The Shipwright's arms'. 27.5cm high approx.

Poor condition overall. Large chip to the base, horizontal and vertical cracks. Heavy crazing. Frits to rim. The handle has been broken in at least three pieces and there are old staple marks in one area. Evidence of vertical cracks to the interior also.
