Two traditional woollen antique late 19th Century Welsh costume skirts, both red with stripes but different coloured, with appliqué detail, one with stripes and one with a border. Together with an antique 19th Century woollen red spotted pattern nursing shawl. (3) (B.P. 21% + VAT)
Shawl: fringe ok, multiple small holes, one large dark stain, some cuts/tears to the edges. Red/black skirt: one small hole noted, waist band a bit grubby/discoloured, replacement button, generally good for age. Red/white over-skirt: full split at back, buttons are replacements (modern), minor discolouration and fading to the waistband. Pin to one bottom edge, possibly someone has altered the back. Good condition for age.
