Chinese porcelain Nyonya Straits porcelain style polychrome ginger jar, brightly decorated with Famille Rose enamels and depicting a Phoenix standing by rocks, surrounded with flowers and foliage, with Ruye heads to the shoulder and a petal Diaper above the foot. Late Qing. 13cm high approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT)
The lid is missing and there is some minor wear to the enamels below the neck. Short hairline crack to base and one chip to the body.
