EARLY 19TH CENTURY WELSH 30 HOUR LONGCASE CLOCK by 'Edward Matthews of Welshpool' having broken swan neck pediment above arched aperture, flanked by reeded columns, moulded and shaped waist door flanked by quarter reeded pilasters on a panelled base with skirted support. Original well painted arched face with seconds dial, Roman numerals and date aperture, gilded and painted shells and flowers to the spandrels and arch. 30 hour movement, strikes on one bell. 20" x 14" face approx.
