£650
Early 19th century Welsh oak dresser base, the moulded top above three drawers with brass swan neck handles and four gun barrel supports, pot board base on stile feet. 178x46x77cm approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT)
Good colour. The usual water stains/scratches and marks commensurate with age. Back panel of central drawer is loose. Some losses in places, but good antique condition overall. Large shrinkage split to the top and slight fading. Two drawers running well. There is no key. Pine drawer linings - some damage and some evidence of worm - one drawer lining is broken at the back. Handles look original, but the locks are NOT. Probably had a rack. Nice colour overall. Back edge of the top may be replaced, filled holes from rack possibly. Shrinkage to the top boards.
