Part service of 19th century Staffordshire Pottery wild flower border plates, the central fields with design of a country church with cottages and figures at a gateway, includes: five 49cm wide rectangular meat dishes, five 43cm wide rectangular meat dishes and a group of twelve 25cm diameter circular meat plates. The meat dishes have no obvious damage although most have crazing in places particularly visible from the underneath. Six of the dinner plates have chips or cracks, most have crazing, particularly visible from the backs.
