Pair of Japanese Satsuma baluster vases with polychrome panels of standing and seated Geisha beneath Wisteria and Pine in a lakeside setting with Mount Fiji in the distance, all on a gilt and enamelled blue ground. Four character gilt on black Satsuma marks to the bases. 25cm high approx. (2) (B.P. 21% + VAT)
Some crazing overall as expected, very minor wear to the gilding, but no obvious damage.
