Chinese export porcelain famille Verte ovoid vase and cover painted with figures and a boat in a lakeside mountainous landscape with trees and pavilions, all beneath a ruyi head border. Two noticeable firing faults, one to the shoulder and one just below the midline. Small flake of porcelain missing from the under glazed mouth but otherwise appearing in good condition with no obvious damage. The vase and cover probably did not start life together but make an acceptable match. Height of the jar with cover, without stand is 36cm approx.
