18th/19th century Chinese porcelain ginger jar and cover, originally overall with under glazed blue decoration, with continuous designs of dragons chasing flaming pearls, storks, boats, pagodas in lake landscapes and mountains, later over gilded and decorated (clobbered). unmarked. 25cm high approx. Appearing in good condition overall, rather grubby. The cover has adhesive stains on it suggesting sellotape has been applied to it at some stage, but does not appear to be structurally damaged. The main body of the vase appearing good.
