Pair of early 19th Century hand painted fans or face screens, one decorated with a Scotsman jumping a pony over a log with lurcher nearby in a landscape, the other with figure and two lurchers (probably a poacher) hiding from the gamekeeper in an expansive landscape, both on gilded, turned and moulded handles. (2)

One has had the handle broken off and it has been rudimentarily glued. Loss to its edge in one place. The other with frits and chips around the edges and loss to one petal. Wear with age.
