Good quality 19th Century Japanese Satsuma ovoid shaped vase decorated with two opposing panels of figures in interiors and gardens, surrounded by designs of fantastic birds on dark blue ground, all with heavy relief gilding. Four painted character marks to base. 19.5cm high approx.
