EARLY 19TH CENTURY WELSH OAK 8 DAY LONGCASE CLOCK of cottage proportions having flat hood with later three finial pediment, square aperture flanked by reeded columns, moulded arch waist door flanked by brass mounted 1/4 reeded columns on a panel base, the panel now removable, on moulded support. Painted Roman face with seconds dial and date aperture decorated with painted flowers spandrels. Two train movement with baluster columns striking on one bell. The face 12" square approx.

Basically in good condition with fair condition, appears to have had some additions and replacements including the pediment and the door may be a later edition or having been repaired. The panel to the base has been converted to be removable. Face is clean, glass is cracked in three places. Includes weight, ?pendulum?
